WhO is
Andrew
O'Brien?
Andrew O'Brien is a born and raised New Yorker and recent graduate of the Manhattan School of Music. He received a Bachelor of Music in Musical Theater and was granted the Provost’s Award for Academic Excellence in his senior year. He also received rave reviews in his hometown of Pelham Manor, New York for his Lady Gaga impressions in the fifth grade, dancing on the sidelines of his Little League soccer games, and his captivating portrayal of Shepherd #3 in the local Christmas Pageant. After local success, he decided to continue his passion for theater and music professionally.
Andrew recently returned to New York from the first Southern National Tour of We'll Meet Again (www.meetagainmusical.com). His Manhattan School of Music credits include Sunday in the Park with George (Louis/Billy Webster), John Kander's new revision of Cabaret ("Tomorrow Belongs to Me" Tenor/Ensemble) directed by Don Stephenson with choreography by Liza Gennaro and musical direction by David Loud, Sweeney Todd (Male Ensemble) directed by Ted Pappas with musical direction by David Loud, and Fiorello! (Card Player) with music direction by David Loud. He is a voice student of Claudia Catania at Manhattan School of Music where he was granted the JMP Musical Theatre Scholarship. Andrew has sung twice with Essential Voices USA under the direction of Judith Clurman at the New York Pops' Under the Mistletoe with Ashley Brown and A Frank and Ella Christmas at Carnegie Hall. Beyond performing, Andrew is a thrill seeker with a travel bug. If there is a cliff to jump off in a foreign country, you can find him there!
